Test drive at a dealer
The Pendix eDrive enhances your pedalling performance, boosting it by up to three times. The electric motor's power delivery is so precise that it maintains a natural pedalling feel. To achieve this seamless control, the bike's bottom bracket is replaced with a Pendix measuring bottom bracket bearing during retrofitting. This new bottom bracket features a sensor that measures the force and rotation applied to the pedals. The drive control processes these signals and calculates the motor's proportional power output. The motor’s coils are then energized, creating a magnetic field that drives the rotor, assisting the rider’s pedalling. The chain or belt transfers the combined power of the rider and motor to the rear wheel.
The Pendix motor is a brushless bottom bracket motor designed directly for use on bicycles. This comes with the added benefit of not requiring any gears. The Pendix drive has no moving parts and operates completely silently.
We want to provide you with the best possible quality. In order to meet this demand, our production in Zwickau has a high degree of automated processes that guarantee consistent quality. During production, the motor and battery are subjected to standardized quality controls. In addition to these quality controls, we carry out endurance tests so that the longevity of Pendix products can be guaranteed.
