Function overview of the Pendix.bike PRO app
Whether you're using an iOS or Android smartphone, the Pendix eDrive connects effortlessly via Bluetooth to the free Pendix.bike PRO app, which you can easily download from the app stores. The app is optional: your Pendix eDrive functions fully even without it. You decide if you want to use the smart additional features. With the Pendix.bike PRO app, you get access to:

- Recording average speed, distance and duration for daily tours and the total distance covered.
- Display of current speed, cadence and support level
- Percentage display of the charge level of your Pendix ePower battery
- Navigation function for optimal route guidance to your destination
- Display of various battery and drive data in the overview
- Display of battery and drive errors incl. history
- Create and manage your own user profile
- Display and execution of Pendix firmware updates*
- Change motor behavior with the "Drive profiles" function
- Changing the wheel circumference (for dealers only)
- Test the sensors (for dealers only)
* Only if firmware updates are available, a new menu item will appear under Bike "Pendix Update".

As soon as you have downloaded the Pendix.bike PRO app to your phone, you will need to register first. Once this process is completed, you can establish the connection. To connect your phone with the Pendix eDrive, set the dial on the ePower to "Smart" and press the power button for 4 seconds. This will activate Bluetooth on the battery. Now, you can go to the "Bike" tab in the app and search for your system. Select it, and the connection between the Pendix app and the Pendix system will be established.
Please note: To be able to see and execute all data and functions, the ePower must be connected to the eMachine.

The new function allows you to make fine adjustments to the motor support yourself. Depending on whether you want to be supported for longer or still feel the maximum power, you can adjust this in future via the app. Watch our video to find out where to find the function and how to make the settings.
Who can use the new function?
Requirements for the "Drive profiles" function: Your eMachine must be used with an ePower300 and ePower500. The ePower must be compatible with the app (see Compatibility section). In addition, your e-machine must have a serial number with the first two digits beginning with greater than or equal to 18.
Update required for older systems
Please open the Pendix.bike PRO app and the "Bike" tab. At the end of this tab you will find "Firmware Updates". Please check for available updates and execute them.
Compatibility
Minimum requirement for your mobile phone:
Android requires at least version 9.0 and a display size of 960x540; iOS requires at least version 13.0 as mobile operating system.
Minimum requirement of your Pendix system:
The Pendix.bike PRO app is compatible with Pendix systems delivered from 01.07.2018 as standard (batteries with part number B2C.904.061 from serial number 1003680; for batteries with part number B1C.904.061 from serial number 2001837).
Pendix systems delivered from 28.03.2019 can also use the new firmware update functionality in the Pendix.bike PRO app, i.e. keep the software in the Pendix eDrive up to date. This can be recognized by the ePower (battery) from the following part and serial number:
500 Wh batteries (part no. B2C.904.06X) from serial number 1005867
300 Wh batteries (part no. B1C.904.06X) from serial number 2003275
150 Wh batteries: all
