E-gravel bike

What characterizes a gravel bike?

Gravel bikes are very similar to road bikes, but the trendsetters have a shorter top tube and thicker tires. The wider tires allow for more riding comfort and easier bike control. But what is the difference to a trekking bike? The trekking bike is heavier and more suitable as an everyday bike in terms of riding position. Furthermore, the gravel bike has a road bike or gravel gear system, whereas the trekking bike has a classic trekking bike gear system and therefore also has an athletic riding style on asphalt roads.

Gravel bikes feel most at home away from tarmac roads, so you can use them to explore very special routes, for example on forest paths, dirt tracks, off-road or on single trails. Of course, gravel bikes are also great for riding on classic roads, but not as fast as a road bike.
