What is a cargo bike?
The cargo bike is becoming increasingly popular, especially in urban areas, as it is worth switching to this type of bike in places where there are few parking spaces or congested roads. There are different types of cargo bike. Roughly speaking, they can be divided into single-track (two-wheeled) cargo bikes and three-wheeled cargo bikes. Both types have a loading area, often in the form of an open box, which can be used to transport goods or children. The loading area also makes these bikes suitable for companies, either for in-house transportation or for delivery or parcel services, for example.
The cargo bike rider
The private cargo bike rider is usually environmentally conscious and prefers to use a cargo bike rather than a car to do the shopping or take the children to nursery.
