What characterizes a trekking bike?
A trekking bike is the most frequently purchased bike in Germany. The reason for this is the all-round characteristics of this type of bike. It combines the characteristics of different types of bike. The tires are slightly profiled and narrower than on a mountain bike, but wider than on a road bike. The riding position is sporty, but still rather upright. Equipped with a luggage rack and panniers, it is the ideal companion for bicycle touring.
